Every year, Pantone (the leading company in color technology and the communication of color accuracy) determines the single most important color of the year that will be reflected in fashion, interiors, products – and the list goes on. The color of the year is always a big deal while bloggers and designers spend months sharing their own predictions on what they believe will take the lead in color trends for the coming year. Surprisingly enough, this year was a bit of a shock as Pantone announced last month that the leading color for 2016 would be the first EVER blending of two colors. Not one, but two!
The colors Rose Quartz & Serenity are both soft hues that “demonstrate an inherent balance between a warmer embracing rose tone and the cooler tranquil blue, reflecting connection and wellness as well as a soothing sense of order and peace”. So now in celebration for the new year we’ve put together our most inspiring collection of images featuring 2016’s Rose Quartz & Serenity.
Happy New Year!
