A few weeks back we came across a post, in Coco & Kelly blog, covering the gorgeous home of David Stark-which was recently featured in NY Mag – and we just couldn’t help ourselves from sharing it. This eclectic New York home takes a risk by using the same bold patterned tile throughout the entire loft, and succeeds. Take some time to look at some of the spaces below, and visit Coco & Kelly for the original story here.
We love the variety of tables filling up the center of this seating arrangement, instead of a single large coffee table. The mix of different styles makes them perfectly classic and modern at the same time.
Rustic floor to ceiling wooden bookcases adorn the wall and showcase the personality of the homeowner through the curated selection of books.
The wall art is hand knit poisonous snake skin from artist Ruth Marshall.
Again, such a fantastic mix of textiles, patterns and texture, and so much attention to detail. The neutral colors and textures bring focus to the unique large scale artwork.
The tile extending throughout the whole space really ties it all together. The cement tiles are available, here.
