The 2018 Southern Style Now Festival is four days packed full of design inspired events (and parties) that include “panel discussions” with notable southern stylecasters. We are very excited that our very own Ili will be among this celebrated panel of visionaries for a discussion titled Southern Style Next.

The conversation will focus on the evolving landscape of the region’s tastes and the cultural influences living in the south has on their design sensibilities. When asked about southern style now, Ili describes it as

“a polished mix of modern and traditional. Never trendy, always timeless. Confidently rooted in the classics, but with a perceptive awareness of things to come. I have grown to love the deep roots of southern hospitality that color almost every interaction in the South. From a polite “good evenin’ ma’am” to an encouraging “can’t never could,” you are never more than 3 degrees from sweet tea on a southern porch and a fierce Scarlett O’Hara!”
